"Anti religion"
Religions and organizations draw people in with the hope and belief of great things, but only if you come to their gatherings. This is so untrue, all that anyone has to do is talk to the father and ask him for what the organizations promise. A lot of church goers don’t even know that they can talk to the Lord all by themselves, without assistance from anyone or anything.
Simplicity, the common denomination of all it takes to find what many search and long for. They search for so very long through life and sadly few ever figure it out till the very end. (we hope)
Why do religions and organizations have to make things so difficult for those who seek to know the truth and find the most perfect love or just a place to feel needed or apart of? So many rules and regulations that are put on the members that its almost ridiculous. Growing up baptist i can talk all about things that are ridiculous. Dancing and drinking just to name a couple rules that were prominent, you didn't dare get caught doing either one but of course everyone knew that you did cause they did too, but don't talk about it or admit it and its o.k.(sort of). and as long as you showed up to church on Sunday wearing your Sunday best best, then all was forgiven, for acting all the sinner the rest of the week.
Unfortunately this was and is a common trap and stinky thinking that most religious people fall into. "You gotta go to church or you go to hell," pretty much sums up most peoples thought on going to church. Then there are those who don't go to church, and because they have been introduced to this bad idea that they are bad for not going, then they are so weighted down with unnecessary guilt about not going they don't go even more. To keep from facing the ones who might shun or look down on them for not going.
Shunning is real and there are churches and groups out there who would shun and dislike you if you break there "Rules". Now, is this anyway to run a church or group, when they are supposed to be for love? To instill in your members that you have to be better than others because you follow some rules that some old guy made up 100 years ago when he started the church or group. But then no one in the 100 years has had the courage to stand up and say that things need to change because times have changed. Or maybe someone in the church could have read the bible himself and said "hey, you know the bible doesn't say that so why are we doing it".
The only rules and rule book anyone of us have to follow is the bible, but we wont know what the rules are if we don't read it for ourselves.
We as a human race do not need to be drawn in with the lazy ones who just want to believe someone else's interpretation of what the good book says. The bible is almost like a horoscope column. It is written in such a way that know matter who or how your read it, or how many times that you read it. The meanings and messages in the scripture is always different and fits to the person reading it as needed, not as a literal black and white here's how it is, do it or die type of reading. Sure there are the commandments and other rules set by God that are black and white do or die, but the bible tells you what they are. It's the rest of the bible that people read that gets all blown out of proportion in its interpretation.
So I suggest if you really want to know the truth about whats going on, then read the Bible yourself. It even comes on tape and c.d. for those who can't or have time to read. Go for the New International Version. This version is taken from the original translations and is in plain English, don't try to bury yourself in the King James version if you haven't ever read Shakespeare and understood it. The writings are just that way and can lead you around in circles only to get frustrated and give up on your mission to finding what you need.
Now, for an end note.... don't get the the impression that churches and organizations who follow the Lord are all bad and that not going is the best thing. For some it maybe, but the bible does say that we need community and to be around like minded people who help us through our journey and keep us on right tracks. The trick is to find a place that has a good belief and faith system and no rule book besides the holy rule book. Find a place that is not stuck on what you wear, where you live, how much money you have(thats a whole other subject, churches and money for later) , but with people who love and care about you just for showing up and being you, even if it is in your p.j.s.
Nondenominational churches are your best bet, just stay clear of the snakes and chicken ones. Test them out, it wont hurt to go for a Sunday and not feel right about it, you don't have to go back and they won't hunt you down to bring you back next Sunday.(give them an alias if they insist:-D)
god bless and get to knowing God right.....

How true this is.
I never understood this concept until I heard Malcolm Smith in a recorded sermon talk about how he hated "religion." Religion, as he defined it, is how people go about trying to make God love them more. It can't work, though, because God already loves each of us infinitely.
Lot's of people say they hate "organized religion." I hate it, too. It gets in the way of our relationship with God the Father.
Thankfully there are many churches out there which help their members foster relationships with God rather than their chosen set of rules and "ticket punches" designed to make one "holy."
